As a last minute decision on a sunny late Summer morning, a trip to Stannon stone circle near St Breward on Bodmin moor seemed like a good idea and it didn’t disappoint! A bit of quick research and looking at area maps in detail, brought on a rush of childlike excitement. It looked like it was fairly easily accessible but still on the quieter, less frequently visited, bits of the moor. I love trips to go see something new. Or rather something ancient. There is that feeling that is almost a yearning; to immerse oneself in the mysteries of old and carry that glimmer of hope that such mystery could be unravelled. I guess that is where most of the excitement comes from. Picking up the art of dowsing back in 2008 was the best thing I could have done to satisfy that craving to get answers. Why did the ancients build stone circles? How? What were they used for? We’ve always looked at it from the point of view of humans. And quite often from a logical and rationalising mindset, using facts, finds, and scientific theories as the measuring sticks of accuracy. Today, I would find that all of this went out the window during a dowsing session that blew my mind.

A dowsing trip to ANCIENT HILLTOP CARN BREA

Arriving on the top of Carn Brea, after a bumpy ride up the small track, we were presented with far reaching views all around and a lovely catching up with old friends of the dowsing kind, realising, after moving up a county last year, how much I miss the wonderful outings and talks that Trencrom Dowsers provides. As always, the organisers John & Jill had researched the area’s history and features and prepared hand outs which provided the happy dowsers with suggestions about locations to dowse for. Whilst the group dispersed into all directions of this magnificent ancient hilltop, I chose to take in the surroundings first, clambering down a set of huge boulders at the base of the medieval castle. Then turned around and marvelled at the view of the castle rising up, filling the skyline. Part of its foundation was built onto a rocky outcrop. Remembering something John said earlier (“I bet this was built way before building regulations!”), I smiled silently. Yes, it was most definitely an impressive piece of rogue castle building. Very photogenic though!

Re-setting the energy to the original soul blueprint

Oh my joyous heart! I need to share some excitement; last Friday, my newest crystal family member arrived! A Brandberg Amethyst. I had never before heard of it but came across the knowledge of its existence during the research this week into the metaphysical properties of the crystal grid that I made for the September Full Moon. There were a few lines on the Brandberg Amethyst in the more general amethyst description but even from those few lines, I immediately felt drawn to it and started a search on the internet to source one. Discovering the exorbitant prices for a flawless one (figures in the hundreds!), I decided to go with a smaller, less perfect, twin peak, Brandberg Amethyst crystal that I felt drawn to. It truly was an act of just knowing this one would be right and boy, it was!

The effects on the Athena earth energy line

I felt compelled to have a small, quiet, solar eclipse ceremony with a new batch of pointed clear crystals that I had put on the earth during the past two nights preceding the eclipse, in order to let the summer rain cleanse them from old energies and to have them soak up the earth’s vibration just as they are at this point of our time on this planet. When collecting the crystals from the earth today, slowly, one by one, I noticed how shiny they were as opposed to the dull glow when they arrived in the post. Surely the cycle of nights and days on the bare earth had done them good. I smiled at the bunch of crystals in my left hand and took them to the garden table adjacent to the wooden chalet. A young girl had left a branch of crab apples on the garden path a couple of days ago when she was visiting, and I took stumbling across these crab apples as a sign to work with them too in the eclipse ceremony. Therefor, I made a circle of quartz crystals surrounding the crab apples with the intent for the crab apples, in its function as a remedy of the 38 Bach Flower Essences that I so love to work with, to empower the cleansing effect of the eclipse, with the underlying thougth that the crab apples' vibrational remedy could be ideal to support the ‘cleansing’ of the slate of history on earth so far and allow for a new, kinder, energy to emerge in the world. The crystals were given the suggestion to help spread the cleansed energy outwards; to bring the undiluted light of the sacred feminine and the sacred masculine into this world. During the darkest minutes of the eclipse, I held my hand over the fruits and the crystals and imbued them with that intent: cleansing and bringing pure light into the world. Afterwards, while walking back to the chalet, I thought it would be good to do some dowsing to see how the solar eclipse energies affect the Athena earth energy line that runs next to the bed! (which is not always easy as an energy sensitive but I manage well.)

Dowsing REPORT & Gaia’s input on bringing about Unity Consciousness

Both Ba Miller and I had independently read the same message, stating that on May 24th, 2017 a ceremony with relation to the Mayan 9th Wave and the ‘Age of the Heart’ would be held by the San Bushmen of the Kalahari, who were creating this ceremony to ‘Ignite the One Heart Fire’, which points to the Unity Consciousness that is the destiny of humanity. In an interview with The Mind Unleashed, Mayan expert Dr. Calleman, said that in the future, the May 24th event may be regarded as the beginning of a sustained effort to facilitate for people to create resonance with the 9th Wave. At the time of reading about the San Bushman event and Calleman’s interview, I was unaware of what the effect on Gaia’s energy field and on human evolution as a result of this ceremony would be, but a few hours before the start of our own local ceremony, I couldn’t shake an inspired idea to do some shamanic dowsing on it to find out. The results are heart-warming and Gaia’s empowering message to us will make you aware of your own power as a conscious human being. Here is the story.

A report for National Dowsing Day

Below are the dowsing results of an amazing beautiful day of connecting with the Michael and Mary earth energy lines at Glastonbury Abbey as part of a greater event as organised by John and Jill Moss of Trencrom Dowsers for National Dowsing Day 2017. There have been several groups along the Michael alignment who have participated in this event and these are the findings of the Glastonbury Abbey group:

In preparation for the national dowsing event of measuring the Mary and Michael earth energy lines across the St Michael alignment, I measured the energy field that radiates outwards from each line (so I didn't measure the boundaries of the line itself but its 'aura'; the field that emanates from the core of each line). The results measured at approx 11:30am. Mary line: at the moment of dowsing the energy field of the line was 12 paces wide. In neutral state she would be 8 paces wide; that was the answer after asking for what the neutral width would be. When I say paces I mean my paces, I'm only 1.68m tall so I guess my paces would be slightly less than a meter wide. Michael measured 14.5 paces wide. The radials coming out of the centre of the power spot where Mary and Michael meet counted 24 radials (neutral would be 16).

Then a large group of pilgrims, about 40 of them, called The Circle Of Light from London (photo below), joined hands around the High Altar and spread love and peace through meditation and a chant for approx. 15 minutes. After that, I've dowsed again as I was curious what the effect of the group on the earth energy lines and power spot was.

A heart blown wide open

It was a sunny morning when I arrived at St. Andrews Church in Dundon, Somerset. The Yew Tree that I felt inspired to visit filled the whole sky and obscured the view on the church itself. Its majesty could be felt even while still being parked in front of the church.I just couldn't wait to get out and meet this ancient tree being. Yet first, I wanted to check whether the two earth energy lines that I had stumbled across on top of Dundon hill the previous day, were also present here. The church is directly downhill so it wouldn't suprise me if they ran here as well. And, oh delight, they did! A rush of enthusiasm opened up my own energy field when I detected the first line, 21 paces wide, running East-West (ish) and including the Yew Tree. Funnily enough, the centre of the line was exactly in the centre of a strange, seemingly out of place, bush that was trimmed to be an arch way for Hobbit sized people. Exploring the area for clues or signs, one grave on the edge of that earth energy line caught my eye: it was a beautifully carved wooden cross with a dove on one of the crosses' arms.

Adventures in Glastonbury - May 2017 - Day 2

Every time I feel called to visit Glastonbury without any pre-set plans, Spirit uses the space offered and steps in big time! Magical meetings, secret messages, chance discoveries, sudden finds and extreme synchronicity breathes through every fibre of my stay in this sacred place. My previous visit had been either too long ago or too short a stay, and now the whispers of the ‘Ancient Isle of Avalon’ had been steadily caressing my mind and heart for weeks! Divine timing, as always, was spot on; I make it a point to do something different than the usual stuff of daily life in the days leading up to and after my birthday. Because, as an Ozzy friend once so wisely shared in 1998, these days ‘out of normality’ create an opening for growth and set an energy for the upcoming year in your personal cycle. So I will try to get away to either a completely new place to explore – or go deeper into the magic of a familiar one. And in this case, the Spirit of Avalon had already been nudging me that it would be the latter.

Meeting the Spirit of Place at Fernworthy stone circle

Breathing a deep breath and on its release, I connected to the Spirit of Place of an ancient stone circle on Fernworthy Reservoir and, after the usual ‘getting to know each other’s energy and intention’, I asked if it would like to take me to an important spot on these grounds.
“Yes”.
“Thank you, please lead”.
The dowsing rod then first led to two different places which, after a Q&A session with the Spirit of Place, revealed that these were spots were springs used to be. In my mind, with this information, I imagined a place where people would go to collect water but I may have been wrong in those assumptions. Because this Spirit of Place, I would learn about half an hour later, was showing me things of importance from its point of perception and not from a human view.

Shamanic Dowsing with Archangel Michael at the Kriya Yoga Michaelmas event

The Michaelmas Kriya Yoga events which are organised by Swami Alyiyananda Paramahansa (www.worldpeacemission.com) every year took place on September 29/30th and October 1/2 2016 in Penzance, Cornwall, UK. Its focus is on Archangel Michael and St Michaels Mount. I feel honoured to have been asked to host a Shamanic Dowsing session around this theme. As a group, through meaningful ceremony, we connected to the energy design of Archangel Michael and joined our minds and focus to bless humanity, the earth and all life on this planet via the node point of earth energy lines on St Michaels Mount. The dowsing was used as a tool to make 'visible' what the impact was of connecting to the energy of Archangel Michael and of to 'see' just how much impact our blessing has on St. Michaels Mount and therefor the whole of Gaia as there is a crossing of four earth energy lines on the mount which takes this blessing around the world.

At 1:15 minute, when I'm speaking about 'beings that we can not see but are still there', the photo frame with a photo of a late Kriya Yoga avatar falls over without anyone touching it!
At 10:40 minutes, with help of the dowsing rod and Archangel Michael, three volunteers are picked from a group of approximately 35 people.

Dowsing experiment results of three volunteers before and after connecting to Archangel Michael

Sue's spherical energy field measured a radius of 6 meter (1.50m times 3 = 6 meter) leading to an overall diameter of 12 meters across. After connecting with Archangel Michael this field doubled (3m times 4 = 12 meter radius) to 24 meters in diameter. Note: Sue had a sharp angle in her energy field on her front right side. It turned out that a crystal, belonging to one of the group members, that was positioned in that corner under a chair, influenced Sue's aura, creating a dowsable 'dent' in it. When the influence of the crystal was 'blocked off' just by using a hand gesture and intent, the Sue's field no longer had this sharp angle but became round like all the others.

Revisiting Knill Monument for follow up dowsing

Back at Knill Monument on a breezy but lovely Summer eve. I was curious to find out what the intensity and width of the earth energy lines and the power spot were now that the ceremony is about three weeks ago. And it is 12 days after I've dowsed them on Aug 4th. Well, here are the results: power spot down in intensity from 41 radials to 21. Width of both lines halved in size as well! One could conclude that the ceremony with dancing and music had an powerful effect on this place that lasted for at least 10 days. We saw the same results after the March Water Blessing, approx 10 days. This is why it is important to keep going out into nature and bless it. Repeatedly.

There were two more interesting experiences to add to the walk:

1) Pesky Piskies! When after the walk up to Knill monument for a bit more dowsing research I returned to the car and reached into my usual pocket of the walking bag to get the car keys out, they were not there. Huh?! I was pretty sure I put them in that zipped pocket. Mmm. Put the bag on the hood and started upacking the whole thing while holding on to the lightweight stuff as the wind had picked up strongly after sunset. With every other pocket and crevasse of the bag thoroughly inspected, I concluded that I may have lost them along the way. With dusk about to darken the narrow path in between hedges, searching for the keys would get increasingly more difficult (I had a torch though) so I hastily started to retrace my steps.

Earth energies and pondering at Knill Monument

Setting out on a sunset evening walk to Knill’s Monument, I took in the beautiful scenery and watched the sun meander unhurried towards the horizon. The Summer breeze brought a sense of peacefulness. The only other sounds were bird song and shards of human chatter. After a while, I became aware of a spontaneous urge to do some dowsing for the energy design of the place. Luckily I was equipped with my walking bag that contains all the quirky dowser’s needs. I took out the metal rod and tuned in to the place. First I asked to be led to the area's most powerful energy spot. Which is the place that I'm standing in, taking the photographs. Gently attuning to this particular power spot, the energies could be felt throughout my body, strongest at the feet. Dowsing for the amount of radials coming out of this energy spot, showed there were a surprising 41 radials. Which is quite high. In comparison to other dowsing experiences, the high count seemed to indicate that this was a very active spot. In general so far, the amount found in other places was around 21-26 when in a 'neutral' state and in the 40's and up for an energised spot (which, for example, happens after a ceremony). It led me to think that this spot was 'fired up' somehow. Maybe by the setting of the sun which had just happened? The sunset was directly in line with the front side of the monument. Then I wondered if there were any earth energy lines involved and the rod’s answer was 'yes', so I set off to find them. There were two strong ones (each about 6 meters wide) and they crossed over the power spot. One line ran SE-NW (the one running through the monument) and one NE-SW (this one was slightly wider than the other line).

A day later, I was chatting about the above with Ba and she said enthusiastically that there had been, very recently, a ceremony up at the monument. I looked this up on the internet and she was right: just a week and a half ago; on July 25th. I wonder if this could have caused the very active power spot! Apparently a historical mayor of St. Ives, John Knill (1733-1811) had designed and built this monument as his mausoleum (although he isn't buried there) and he left money so that each 5 years a peculiar ceremony could take place, involving a procession of 10 maidens dressed in white, 2 widows, a fiddler and the Hundredth Psalm.

I went to a friend’s house for a wonderful lunch and a shamanic dowsing session. My friend had some water/tap problems and wanted to know whether it was impacting her life on a deeper level as well. She wanted to know if everything was flowing well? Or maybe that there was some sort of obstruction as the energy felt slightly off to her.

As always, I started with introducing myself to the Spirit of place and state my intentions. In first instance, I was led to the kitchen area and apparently underfoot was a pipeline blockage that could be removed by pouring 750ml cider vinegar through the upstairs bath sink, leaving it for 30 mins, then turn the cold water tap on in the kitchen. Then I went on to find the house’s most beneficial, positive energy spot radiating from within the earth. It was in a place near the front door where she also kept her shoes. After a series of questions it became clear that there was a water line (underground water stream) running through that positive energy spot, hindering its full potential. The sofa was also slap bang on the water line. Having to stand in it for quite some time, I got a ‘headache’ feel investigating the water line.

What do Spirit and the Strawberry Moon want us to know?

Now that we completed our circle around the outside of the Seed of Life stone circle and honoured Air, Fire, Water and Earth, it was time to take all we had learned into the centre of the stone circle, where the lines of the Seed of Life pattern converge. The lines are made of shallow trenches filled with white stones that come from across the globe. People often bring stones from other countries as a gift. A week ago, a dedicated team of volunteers (more help always welcome!) had weeded the trenches and the Seed pattern looked beautiful. The centre of the Celtic Wheel of the Year is normally associated with ‘Spirit’. I like to think of Spirit as the place of all ‘Energy Design’. As above, so below; imagine that every physical form has its energetic counterpart, an ‘energy design’. Or you could compare the idea to an original blueprint. Within Spirit, every blueprint in its pristine vibration is stored, including ours. When we, by means of intention, connect to Spirit, we access the field in which all information is contained. Plus it gives us an additional tool from which we can create change on Earth. For instance, when we connect to the Spirit/Energy Design of Pure Water Consciousness, we can ‘draw’ the energy design ‘down’ into our body. The vibration will affect the water molecules in our body and those in their turn are connected to everything else in this physical world (see message of the Spirit of Water). In this way we become a transmitter of the original energy design for water. Which basically makes us into ‘walking blessings’, able to gently influence the restoration of any disharmonious energy pattern of water. Download the appropriate energy design, emit, bless. Back in February a shamanic dowsing experiment was set up around this. We transmitted Pure Water Consciousness into bottles of water and the result of the measurements of the energy fields of both humans and of water was mind blowing (see report earlier on the Shamanic Dowsing page). We can make a huge impact, every one of us!

Summer Solstice Ceremony at the Seed of Life stone circle – NORTH

What does the Spirit of Earth want us to know?

Our beautiful group had listened and honoured the Air, Fire and Water element, and now we gathered in the North at Seed of Life stone circle’s outer marker stone. The direction of the North is related to the Earth element on the Celtic Wheel of the Year. We worked with the representations of Earth in its form of stone and soil. Stone is our first ancestor and without the skeleton of stone providing the strong scaffolding that is holding up the landscapes, there would be no place for precious soil to gather. Nor hold the seeds that will lead to new growth.
The soil that covers our landscapes is for the largest part composed of the debris of previous bloom. When life has bloomed and comes to the end of its cycle, then it will decay and its physical substance will return to and become part of the soil, taking with it also the metaphysical properties of all the memories and experiences of the blooming to give one more blessing to this world; that of NOURISHMENT. Soil is a mixture of dead and living energy, endlessly tumbled by time into compost and fertile lands. All the other elements help in the process of this transformation of life to death and resurrection. Maybe that is why we place the Earth element in the North, which in the Northern Hemisphere is the place of winter and of Rebirth of the Sun/Son. In addition, the stones and soil together are CARRYING us. There would be no place to walk on, to lie on, to dream on and build on, to cherish and to love, let alone of food to be produced, if it weren’t for stones and soil. In this vital role, we honoured the Spirit of Earth.

What does the Spirit of Water want us to know?

Having honoured and listened to Air and Fire, we walked over to the place of the West on the Seed of Life stone circle’s circumference. The West is associated to Water on the Celtic Wheel of the Year. Still glowing from the warmth of fire, our group gathered around a glass bowl filled with water. The round pyramid shaped shell submerged in the centre of the water was a gift from the Genius Loci of the well from which this water was collected. I had also added some tiny flowers that grew in the vicinity of the bowl, as an offering to the water.
The water originated from a local Fairy Well that I previously didn’t know existed and it was only because of a chance meeting with an older Irish lady whom I helped to find the well, that I found myself visiting this secluded place two days before the Summer Solstice ceremony. My sent friend had the most amazing, almost angelic voice, with which she had blessed the Fairy Well and its guardian spirit while she stood in its water (story can be found on the Shamanic Dowsing facebook page). The water in the bowl today still contained that powerful blessing. A bit of dowsing had shown that the energy field of the well water after the blessing song was the same size as the energy field of the water in the bowl before our ceremony. More dowsing answered that the effect of the blessing would last 17 days. With this knowledge, preparing for the ceremony in solitude, I had put out the garden chairs around the Hopi circle in the afternoon and washed each chair individually with the Fairy Well water while whispering: ‘May the person who sits in this chair be blessed by the pure waters from the Fairy Well’.
