Past events, reports and stories

In this section you can read the introductions to the latest dowsing reports of past events as well as other adventures & stories related to shamanic dowsing. Although not widely accepted as 'scientific proof', dowsing can be a helpful tool to the study into consciousness. To show, by means of dowsing, how everything is related to each other through vibration - and to work intentionally with the consciousness of the physical world (and beyond) - may offer a beautiful glimpse into what has been widely forgotten; that everything is part of the whole in relation to us. I hope that the Shamanic Dowsing in service to the evolution of consciousness may begin to seed and cultivate the thought that we need to incorporate earth and all its life into our circle of interaction. Everything has a seat at the table of Life. Viewed in that way, the use of dowsing evolves on par with becoming more conscious.

Revisiting Knill Monument for follow up dowsing

Back at Knill Monument on a breezy but lovely Summer eve. I was curious to find out what the intensity and width of the earth energy lines and the power spot were now that the ceremony is about three weeks ago. And it is 12 days after I've dowsed them on Aug 4th. Well, here are the results: power spot down in intensity from 41 radials to 21. Width of both lines halved in size as well! One could conclude that the ceremony with dancing and music had an powerful effect on this place that lasted for at least 10 days. We saw the same results after the March Water Blessing, approx 10 days. This is why it is important to keep going out into nature and bless it. Repeatedly.

There were two more interesting experiences to add to the walk:

1) Pesky Piskies! When after the walk up to Knill monument for a bit more dowsing research I returned to the car and reached into my usual pocket of the walking bag to get the car keys out, they were not there. Huh?! I was pretty sure I put them in that zipped pocket. Mmm. Put the bag on the hood and started upacking the whole thing while holding on to the lightweight stuff as the wind had picked up strongly after sunset. With every other pocket and crevasse of the bag thoroughly inspected, I concluded that I may have lost them along the way. With dusk about to darken the narrow path in between hedges, searching for the keys would get increasingly more difficult (I had a torch though) so I hastily started to retrace my steps.

All the time I had a vague feeling I was being led up the Pisky path (Cornish Fairies, well known for their prankish and misschieveous nature). I mean I could almost hear them laugh uncontrollably when I bent down to inspect the ground beneath some brambles and leaves where the dowsing rod indicated I had 'lost' the keys. They weren't there! With a dignified 'right, you're not fooling me anymore' (and more inaudible laughter) I tucked the dowsing rod back in the bag and started trusting my eye sight instead. Back at the monument, with heated cheeks from the walk and the slight worrisome fact that I had not yet found the keys, I decided to do one more check of the entire walking bag, scrutinizing it inch by inch. The last pocket being inspected was the one that I'd normally would put them in but weren't there before. But now.... they were!!! (more laughter rode upon the wind). Definitely being Pisky led.

2) You remember I told about the very strong presence of the Guardian Spirit at the 'entrance' trees on the path? Today it met me about 10 metres before I came to the actual spot of the tree. This time I was more prepared and less intimidated. "Hi there, I'm back and I've got some yummie sunflower seeds to share with you and your nature buddies." I threw a large handful on an open spot under the gnarly tree so it could be easily found by birds and other animals. Thick, strong cold vibes kept going down my spine all the time I stood there and talked to the Guardian Spirit. It seemed to like the gift as it did not follow me up the path like it did last time (which spooked me a bit). Good. Then when I came back from the walk after sunset, its energy became noticeable again a few meters before the spot. Of course I still had sunflower seeds left to offer. "There you go", seeding the gifts all over the path and under the tree. I decided to brave the energy and have a good look at the tree. For the first time I noticed it was a Hawthorn tree. Oh my, what a beautiful one and probably very old from looking at the trunk and many forms and thick branches. "Oh, you are a Hawthorn tree", I said aloud, as if talking to a friend casually. "I am caring for an old dog who has heart failure problems and I'm adding Hawthorn tincture to her drinking water to help her heart." The energy of the Guardian Spirit changed in the blink of an eye from cold continual shivers down my spine to a warm glowing feeling of love and compassion. "So thank you, spirit of Hawthorn, thank you for your blessing!" (of helping my dog). I felt emotional and a downpour of even more warmth embraced me gently, nestling in my heart area. This feeling accompanied me all the way down to the car.
